In the dishwasher
The easiest way to clean the Turtleneck® Straw is in the dishwasher. Simply bend the straw straight and place it upright in the cutlery basket. This allows water and detergent to flow through the large opening and clean our reusable drinking straw as thoroughly as plates and glasses. The hot water also ensures that germs and viruses are safely removed.
With the cleaning brush
If you don't have a dishwasher, our Turtleneck® Straw can also be cleaned quickly and easily with a cleaning brush, which is included with every straw set. Simply bend the straw straight and use our brush for residue-free cleaning.
CERTIFIED EASE OF CLEANING
Residue-free cleaning in the dishwasher has also been thoroughly tested by an independent organisation. The Turtleneck® Straw has been recognised by Intertek® as easy to clean, mechanically and chemically safe.
What is the best way to clean it? Is it dishwasher safe?
The Turtleneck® Straw can be cleaned quickly and without leaving any residue in the dishwasher. If there is no dishwasher available or if stubborn drink residue needs to be removed, the cleaning brush provided can also be used.
Good to know: The diameter of our drinking straw allows sufficient water flow for safe cleaning in the dishwasher. The high-quality material also ensures that the Turtleneck® Straw is at least as hygienic to clean as, for example, a glass straw. Because our stainless steel is very robust and durable and can easily withstand extremely high temperatures in the dishwasher - germs and viruses are removed just as safely as beverage residues.
